As time goes on the standard of medial care at motorcycle racing in Ireland has got better and better. This has come about thanks to a lot of effort by a number of people working together. Motorcycling Ireland are putting more and more into this area as each year goes by.
There is now a dedicated team of volunteer medics at all road racing events. These people are Motorcycling and racing fans and deserve a lot of credit for the effort they put in.
As you may or may not be aware, thanks to MCI and these volunteer’s there is now over forty people attending racing events trained to assist the medical team before and after their arrival at the scene of an accident.
We should also give special thanks to McKeon Motors of Kells and Mitsubishi Ireland for the use of a car for the medical team to use at these events. This car carries enough people and equipment to deal with almost any event.
As you can imagine all this comes at a cost and this is where you come in. Here you can make a donation and help assist in the care that is available at these racing events. If you are in a position to make a donation please do so. Please click on the link below and you will be taken to a payment screen. EVERY LITTLE HELPS
